The Details
One of a small collection of award-winning cottages grouped around a private courtyard, Wella is just a short stroll from the beach and comes complete with bright, airy interiors and cool coastal vibes. Step inside and you'll find this is an upside down house - the bedrooms are nestled on the ground floor, while the living area is upstairs, making the most of the light and bright views.
The two cosy bedrooms are both kitted out with TVs and soft bedlinen for a restful night's sleep. Each comes with a smartly tiled ensuite, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a spacious bath - with a waterproof TV above so you can watch your shows in the tub. Towels and Bramley toiletries are provided. Both rooms are doubles, but one can be made up as a twin if required.
Head upstairs to the open plan living area, where windows overlook the courtyard and skylights let the sunshine in. At one end the kitchen area comes with everything you need, including double oven and hob, big fridge freezer, Nespresso machine and a breakfast bar where you can sit and sip your morning coffee. Beside the kitchen is the dining table for four.
At the other end of the room, the living area is a cosy spot, with a sofa and armchairs grouped around the fire, just right for a chilly evening or a wintery afternoon. Snuggle up and watch your favourite film or series on the large smart TV above the fire.
Outside you have use of the shared landscaped courtyard garden, with seating and a patio heater to keep you warm after dark. There is an outside shower to wash the sand off your feet and a selection of body boards you can use if you fancy catching some waves.
Wella is within five minute's walk of both beaches in St Ives and well placed to make the most of all the wonderful restaurants, museums and galleries this famous town has on offer. Further afield Cornwall is yours to enjoy, with fantastic coastal walks, the Eden Project, St Michael's Mount and many more attractions within easy reach.
This property comes with a very handy extra: a reserved secure parking space - gold dust in St Ives. This is located approximately one mile from the cottage.
