The Details

Situated on the stunning shores of Loch Alsh in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, this superb group retreat offers stylish design and a peaceful, calming atmosphere. When you arrive, you’ll be struck by the amazing scenery that surrounds you and once you step inside, the home’s old-world charm and soothing colour palette invite you to relax and unwind in style.

This amazing home sits in 40 acres of private farmland, woodland and foreshore, so you’ve got wonderful views out of every window, connecting you to the scenery around you.

The 18th century home is listed and has been lovingly restored creating a space that is unique and homely. The superb lounge has a striking wood-burner to keep you toasty and warm alongside some comfy sofas where you can curl up with a drink, catching up with your nearest and dearest.

The fab kitchen has bundles of old-world charm and is nicely equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious feasts for your group. Then, when dinner’s ready, serve it up in the grand dining room, where a huge, feature dining table sets the scene for epic social feasts that stretch into the night. Big windows in this space also offer up stunning loch views, which add to the grandeur as you dine.

Before bed, why not hop into one of the deluxe free-standing bathtubs in the property? These baths sit next to picture windows, offering you the chance to indulge in a relaxing soak whilst gazing out at the view.

Then, when eyes grow weary, head to bed in one of the eight lovely bedrooms. There is one double room, four king size rooms and three twin rooms on offer. One of the king size rooms has an ensuite, one has a free-standing bath in the room itself and the others share four family bathrooms.

Tulach Ard House also has lovely formal gardens that surround the front of the house. Here, you’ll find pretty flower beds and a large lawn where you can relax in the summer sunshine whilst taking in the views, or gather with your group for some garden games.

This stay sits in the heart of the Ross-shire countryside which offers up rolling hills, gorgeous lochs and big sky drama. Think peaceful glens, ancient woodlands and red deer wandering through the heather. Just a short stroll takes you to the breathtaking shores of Loch Alsh, which is perfect for castle-spotting or boat trips to secret coves. Whether you're hiking, stargazing or just soaking in the silence, this is Scotland at its most soul-stirring.
