Tilbury Farm is tucked away in the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Somerset. Choose one of two shepherd's huts, one of two barn conversions, or a thatched cottage in a nearby village.

Guests are welcomed with a breakfast hamper from the local farm shop containing bacon, sausages, bread, milk, and juice. Books, games, and DVDs are provided, making Tilbury Farm a home from home.

Tilbury View is a barn conversion that sleeps two, with room for a young child or baby in a cot in the same room. The accommodation is arranged on one level, with an en-suite bedroom, and an open-plan living and dining area.

Tilbury Cottage is a barn conversion arranged over two levels. It sleeps two, with room for a young child or baby in a cot in the same room. The open-plan living and dining area is on the first floor with views over the surrounding countryside. The en-suite bedroom is found on the lower floor.

Both Tilbury View and Tilbury Cottage have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave, and oven. WiFi is available, as well as a TV and DVD player with selection of DVDs. For some screen-free time, enjoy reading one of the selection of books, or the newspapers that are provided daily.

Romney and Jacob are the two shepherd's huts. Each is set in its own space and sleeps two adults and a small child. A double bed folds out from the wall to create more space. The daybed in either hut can be made up into a child's bed, with bedding and bed rail provided.

The kitchens have an oven, hob, and fridge. Each hut has a deck with outdoor furniture and fire bowl with BBQ grill. The living space has a woodburning stove and daybed with throws. The en-suite bathroom has toiletries and towels provided.

Richards Cottage is a Grade II Listed building dating from the sixteenth century. Inside, you'll find modern dcor and fittings with historic features. There are six bedrooms, two living spaces, three bathrooms, and a kitchen/dining room. The garden has a terrace and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.

The Quantock Hills are ideal for mountain biking, and crisscrossed with trails. Tilbury Farm has storage for bikes and washing and drying facilities for muddy or wet gear. Lovers of rugged natural beauty will be pleased to know that the rocky coastline of West Somerset isn't far away. Enjoy coastal walks, rockpooling, or fossil hunting. Or head out to Dunster or Minehead for a day in the sun on a sandy beach.

There are many historic buildings and gardens nearby, such as Dunster Castle and Arlington Court. Take a ride on a steam train on the West Somerset Railway or visit Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole for a family day out.
