The Details...

The Warehouse Akeld is a former goods store, which is now a stunning detached holiday home set in one acre of lawn and woodland, offering a peaceful location at the foot of The Cheviot Hills. This unique property is perfectly located for exploring Northumberland, The Scottish Borders and The Heritage Coastline.

As you step inside youll find the entrance porch opens onto a lounge complete with two large, comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player and Bose iPod docking system, DVDs, CDs and games.

Theres plenty of space to dine, with a fully fitted kitchen that includes an electric oven and gas hob, a dishwasher, fridge with ice-box and a Bose radio/CD player for your tunes. The dining table extends to seat up to six people.

Upstairs is one double bed and one twin bedroom, both with an en-suite shower room. The twin room can be made up as a double plus single or three single beds.

Outside youll find a large decked area with a hot tub, ideal for spending nights out under the stars. Theres outdoor furniture, a BBQ for cooking outside on balmy days and secure parking for several cars and lockable cycle storage.

Wooler forms the gateway to the Northumberland National Park. The high street offers a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes. With a gallery and specialist shops for browsing and purchasing local Northumbrian fayre.

Whilst youre in the area why not take a trip to Holy Island. Also known by its Celtic name as Lindisfarne, Holy Island is accessible only at low tide, twice daily, by a three mile long causeway, built in 1954.
