Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
Set within a peaceful Norfolk village, The Old Tackroom's charm and cosy interiors offer a bolthole for couples to unwind in after a day of exploring the gorgeous countryside and coastline in the region. The tasteful decor makes the most of its quaint location, with traditional farmhouse style combining nicely with modern touches. A woodburner keeps guests nice and toasty during the winter months, while the private courtyard is great for barbecues on a balmy summer's evening, making this a fabulous haven no matter what time of year it is. It's easy to discover the whole of Norfolk from The Old Tackroom, whether that's taking advantage of the stunning coastline, the picturesque countryside or the culture and shopping in Norwich.
The property is part of an old stable courtyard, so it is full of original charm and character, with high vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and exposed bricks throughout. The space has been carefully planned out, with a separate double bedroom and ensuite bathroom, as well as a small kitchen area, great for rustling up a hearty breakfast and snacks for the day ahead.
The living area is home to a futon, which offers additional sleeping space, and there is a wall-mounted television for enjoying a good film when it's dark out. Guests with dogs will be delighted to have a private outdoor space, which is secured so there's no need to worry about wandering paws. A complimentary breakfast hamper made up of locally sourced goods is given to all guests, but there are shops a short drive away in case visitors need local amenities during their stay.
There is much to see and do in the nearby area, and bikes are available to use if guests like to get about on two wheels. The coastline and countryside here is some of the best in the UK, while foodies will not be disappointed by the variety of gastropubs, tea rooms and restaurants in surrounding villages and towns. Action lovers can try their hand at surfing, boat trips and wildlife spotting, while culture vultures can immerse themselves in the medieval city of Norwich.
Prices are per night.
