The open plan living and dining space features a grand dining table that comfortably seats your whole group. This is a fantastic place to enjoy big hearty meals that stretch long into the night. At the other end of this room is the cosy lounge area, with a couple if big comfy sofas for where you can chat the night away with a glass of wine or settle in with your morning coffee as you plan the day ahead. There’s also a Samsung The Frame Freeview TV in this room which hangs as artwork on the wall when switched off.
You can also gather in the original stage area, which is a show-stopping feature at The Old Church Hall, transformed into a stylish second lounge perfect for gatherings, game nights or even a peaceful yoga session. With a grand 26-foot church pew adding character and charm, this space invites you to sit back, relax and soak in the atmosphere. And don't miss the iconic Yves Klein Blue steel staircase – an art piece in its own right – spiralling elegantly from the stage to the top floor. Finally, why not head to the mezzanine and enjoy views of the Irish Sea through an enormous window from the comfort of the deep squashy sofa?
The kitchen at The Old Church Hall is designed to make meal prep a joy, with two full-size electric ovens, five hob rings, a microwave and a spacious American fridge-freezer. You'll find all the essentials and more, from a dishwasher to champagne flute.
Each of the five beautiful bedrooms is designed with comfort in mind. Four of the bedrooms feature a luxurious king size bed ideal for couples, whilst the last bedroom has three king size beds. Before bed, why not hop in the large, freestanding bath and enjoy an indulgent soak away from the rest of the group? You can also refresh in the spacious shower cubicles - each bathroom is equipped with all the essentials for a serene start or finish to your day.
Step outside to a charming garden space equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ for alfresco dining and an outdoor tap to rinse off after beach days or hikes. There’s even a dog poo bin to keep things tidy for your four-legged friends. Enjoy private parking for two cars, with additional on-road parking available.
If you want to head out you're just moments from Seascale’s charming village with cosy pubs, a new ice cream shop and an award-winning chippie and you’ll also find miles of sandy beaches and a scenic golf course nearby. Explore Wasdale’s famous hiking spots, paddle or swim in Wast Water, visit historic sites like Muncaster Castle or ride the L’al Ratty steam train through the stunning Eskdale Valley.
