  The Detail...

Nestled in a field in North Wales, youll find this enchanting vintage gypsy caravan, perfect for a romantic escape. This hand-built bow top caravan has many a story to tell having been home to Romany families and transported them to the Appleby Horse Fair. Youll even find the initials of the original owner woven into the beautiful paintwork. This gorgeous wagon is now a cosy sanctuary for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with the outdoors.

Step inside this exquisitely crafted cabin and youll find yourself in your own little hideaway with a comfy double bed and a log burner to keep you warm and cosy. The roof and walls are double insulated so youll be snug whatever the weather. The clever design has also made room for plenty of storage, making the most of every inch of space. Next to the caravan is a log cabin where youll find everything you need to whip up some hearty meals, including a gas hob, cool box and a whole array of utensils. Sit out on the front porch in the mornings or retreat inside and curl up on the sofa in front of the log burner with a book in the evenings. Youll find the other facilities, including a composting toilet and a hot shower next to the log cabin.

Outside, theres a secluded garden area with chairs and a table gathered around a fire pit. Cook out in the open with the mountains providing a stunning backdrop. When the evening rolls in, snuggle up under some blankets, toast some marshmallows over the fire and do a bit of stargazing with a hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

The caravan is located just 15 minutes from Snowdonia National Park by car. The Park is home to Mount Snowdon, Wales highest mountain. If you reach the summit on a clear day, youll be rewarded with views all the way across the sea to Ireland. There are plenty of activities on offer in the local area designed to help you reconnect with nature and the outdoors. Learn how to build a fire and cook over it or how to make some basic tools on a bushcraft course. Or perhaps sign up to a Wild Food experience where you can learn how to forage safely and how to cook game. You can also enjoy a wild gourmet feast of locally sourced produce and foraged foods alfresco under the stars.
