Despite the feeling of tranquility which characterises the space, Somerleyton is only a 15 minute stroll from the village of Somerleyton itself, a quaint settlement where you can find everything you could want. Without leaving the immediate vicinity, take a boat trip in St Olaves, walk or bicycle the dedicated paths, or hop in the car for 10 minutes and arrive at a charming beach. If you drive for another 10 minutes, you can find yourself in the quintessential seaside towns of Gorleston and Great Yarmouth, known for pretty lanes, excellent fish and chips, and stunning vistas out over the sea.
