Nestled in a peaceful spot on the edge of the Howardian Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Yorkshire, Seaves Mill offers you a marvellous location for your next rural retreat. Sleeping four guests, this former mill has been redesigned and furnished stylishly and with your comfort in mind. The mill is set within some beautiful landscaped gardens, offering you plenty of space outside to sit in the summer sunshine. However, inside the property is cosy and comfortable, making it a suitable holiday home all year round.
The large open plan living space has dramatic high ceilings and exposed beams, offering it plenty of rural charm. Sit beneath the beams on the comfy velvet sofa and arm chairs that are positioned around the wood burning stove. This is an ideal location to enjoy a glass of wine with your loved ones, or to cosy up with a good book in front of the fire. The kitchen is also located in the open living space, and has all you need to cook for your group. The round dining table completes the room and comfortably sits four.
Seaves Mill has two elegant and stylish bedrooms on offer. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom for added privacy. The en suite is complete with luxurious marble tiles and large walk-in shower. The second bedroom sits upstairs and is made up of two four foot single beds. This room also has an en suite that comes with a freestanding claw foot bath tub that is great for a relaxing soak after a day out hiking and exploring the hills.
Step outside and you have a quaint seating area where you can enjoy your morning coffee with breakfast whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens as the stream trickles by.
Located on the edge of the Howardian Hills, you have lots of picturesque scenery to soak up. Be sure to bring your hiking boots or your bicycle and venture out to explore this impeccable part of the country. You're also near the historic city of York, that's just 13.5 miles away, and has many amazing restaurants, pubs, shops, cafes, and historic sites. When it comes to spots to eat, The Durham Ox, is just 3 miles away in the village of Crayke and is well worth a visit. Whilst the world renowned chef Tommy Banks’ restaurant The Black Swan, crowned The Best Restaurant in the World is in Oldstead, that's just a 20 minute drive from your door.
