Enjoy a tranquil stay in a sublime shepherd’s hut on the grounds of a spectacular hotel in St Andrews, Scotland. There are two types of marvellous suite on offer, providing a peaceful retreat in some outstanding scenery, allowing you to unwind in style whilst taking in amazing views.

The suites have been lovingly crafted down in Somerset before making their way up to Scotland. Both types are individually styled and decorated, offering private decks, stylish interiors and comfy furnishings. The two types of suite are different sizes, with one type sleeping two and one that is great for families sleeping up to four.

After a day wandering the marvellous surrounding countryside, you and your loved one can retire back to your suite for an evening of peace and tranquillity. The two-person suites are the perfect place for a romantic retreat with a calm location and a luxurious freestanding bath tub in the bedroom for indulgent soaks. Fill the bath with bubbles and settle in with a good book and a glass of wine before enjoying a cosy evening by the wood burning stove.

The suite is also nicely equipped with a quaint kitchenette that’s ideal for preparing small feasts and tasty lunches, however, guests staying at both suites are treated to a complimentary breakfast each morning at the hotel’s restaurant.

When bedtime beckons, the two-person suite has a comfy double bed with a star-gazing skylight, so you can settle in and gaze up at the constellations as you drift off to sleep. Wake up in the morning and enjoy a hot shower in the ensuite shower room before taking your morning coffee on the peaceful sun deck.

The four-person suite is ideal for small families sleeping two adults and two children and the second bed can fold away if not in use. This suite has a lot of the same features as its companion, with another stargazing skylight, wood burning stove, matching kitchenette and a fantastic sun deck. It also features a freestanding copper bath tub outside on the deck where you can enjoy a relaxing soak with a view.

You may also wish to venture out and explore the local area, which is brimming with great things to do. Visit the sandy white beaches and the cobbled streets of St Andrews. Enjoy a tasty cuppa in a hidden cafe and wander the craggy ruins of an ancient castle. Golf lovers will also be able to play a number of courses nearby, including the legendary St Andrews course, dubbed ‘The Home of Golf’.
