The detail

Nestled right behind the charming and busy Lymington High Street, Nutmeg House is a whitewashed and light-filled four bedroom family cottage, ideal for holidays incorporating both beach day trips and cultural pursuits to town. The home offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests and is brimming with contemporary entertainment systems and the modern amenities you need for a comfortable time away. Nutmeg House is also close to picturesque beaches, a bustling town, and inland wooded hillsides, ensuring that there is an activity for everybody in the family.

The house is built around a high-ceilinged kitchen with modern surfaces and appliances, ample space for everyone, and an informal breakfast-style kitchen table. Also on the ground floor you'll find a more formal dining room, ideal for larger meals. This space is set up as an open plan room, extending into the drawing room with its ample comfortable furniture and large television. From this room there is direct access out into the private garden, a light-filled and tranquil space which is a great spot for a cup of coffee and the papers in the morning, a little afternoon reading, or a meal with the whole family using the outdoor dining furniture.

The first bedroom is on this level, a triple bunk room which features a child-sized single above a double. The next bedroom is up a small staircase. With a super-king sized bed, a personal TV and a gleaming en-suite bathroom with high-pressure hot water for beach days, this is a favourite with guests. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor proper, sharing a family-style bathroom but each boasting their own large TV, super-king bed set-up and large windows. Each of the bedrooms benefits from the same charm and personalised aesthetic which characterises the house, with beautiful works of art, set pieces, and unusual furniture coming together to create a visually unique and warm space that families and friends alike fall in love with the moment they enter.

Whether you're a beach enthusiast or prefer to spend your holidays pottering through seaside towns, Nutmeg House is perfectly positioned for visitors to take in the Lymington experience in full.
