You should know

• If you need some extra room there is another luxury villa on-site. While they each offer exquisite privacy they do share tennis courts and have a small connecting pathway.
• While you may be able to spot distant seascapes, the nearest beach is around 30 minutes away.
• All five bedrooms are set up with twin beds. Three of the five rooms can be set up as doubles on request.

The detail

Escape the bright lights of Mallorca’s traditional tourist trail with a stay at this luxury five bed villa amongst the island’s sun-drenched country vistas. Settled within its own 20 hectare private gardens in the village of Moscari, it has panoramic views over land, sea and mountains. The azure Alcudia waters glisten far off in the distance, while the dramatic Tramuntana Mountains soar above the colourful, citrus orchards.

The Moscari I Villa has a distinctive Mallorcan façade with crisp whitewashed walls and classic pillared balconies. Pretty window shutters let the sunlight flood in and frame gorgeous views out over the mountains. Its stunning outdoor space makes the most of its tranquil location and includes a modern pool terrace and garden chill-out area. Furnished with ergonomic sun beds and uber-cool leaf umbrellas, it is a stylish place that oozes with a laidback atmosphere.

Inside, the villa combines contemporary chic with an eclectic mix of exclusive antiques. Interesting artwork hangs on minimalist white walls, alongside fine ceramics, abstract sculptures and local craftwork. Rustic natural materials bring the beauty of the outdoors in and blend in seamlessly with the villa’s sleek, designer-feel.

The fresh, concept kitchen is located on the first floor and has state of the art mod-cons and retro features. Just across the hallway is a sophisticated living room which is brimming with characterful pieces and luxurious furnishings. From here, large doors open out onto the impressive dining terrace that has a wood carved table and intimate seating areas.

The five en-suite double/twin bedrooms are spread out over two floors and have a mix of comfortable beds, bespoke headboards and deluxe bathrooms. Two of the downstairs bedrooms open out onto the relaxing pool terrace, while the first floor rooms look out over picture-perfect landscapes. Each bedroom can either be set up as a double or twin to accommodate different variations of groups.

Beyond the villa there is plenty to discover in the local area including the sparkling coast, scenic walks and whitewashed towns and villages. The sleepy village of Moscari offers a glimpse of authentic island life, while the picturesque towns of Selva and Campanet are also beautifully untouched. The bright lights of Palma and Alcudia can be found just a 30 minute drive away and are home to endless, golden beaches and sprawling shopping centres. If you don’t want to venture out then you can chill-out at the villa: with its own tennis court and games room it has plenty to offer.
