Tucked away in a quiet spot in Pembrokeshire, Hill House Country Estate is a great spot to relax with family and friends well away from the hustle and bustle. The house itself is a charming blend of traditional and modern with stylish decor alongside features such as grand fireplaces and wood paneling. After a day exploring Pembrokeshire's stunning coast and countryside, put your feet up in the luxurious living spaces or relax in the beautiful gardens, perhaps going for a dip in the hot tub.
Step inside and you'll find yourself in a spacious and welcoming hallway that leads off to the large living areas, all perfect for entertaining. To the left, you'll find the grand dining room with its soft lighting and panelled walls creating an elegant and intimate atmosphere for dinners with the whole family. Next door, is the colourful living room with large windows letting in plenty of natural light and big sofas where you can relax with a film on the flat-screen TV.
If you fancy a moment of peace and quiet, the drawing room is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book and enjoy the views of the garden. The kitchen is fully-equipped to cater for all your culinary needs with everything from a wine fridge to two dishwashers. There's also a breakfast bar and a dining table for less formal meals.
Head up the stairs to find the bedrooms off a hallway with stained-glass ceilings. Each of the bedrooms has been individually styled and offers a peaceful retreat for a good night's sleep. There are six bedrooms in total, five with king size beds and one bunk room, ideal for the kids. Several of the rooms have their own sitting areas, fireplaces and lovely views over the grounds and gardens.
Outside, is a large garden with a patio area, perfect for whiling away a sunny afternoon. The kitchen has doors that open out onto the patio, making it easy to take your meals outdoors during warmer weather. Tuck into delicious dinners surrounded by the trees and gardens of the estate or unwind in the hot tub, enjoying the serenity of the surroundings.
There's plenty of exploring to do with the beaches, castles, historic towns and harbours of Pembrokeshire right on your doorstep. Explore the ruins of a Norman fortress in nearby Narberth or peruse the town's independent shops and galleries. Head out along the coastal path and discover beautiful beaches and hidden coves along the way. Take a boat trip to Skomer Island to see the puffins or try some watersports at Whitesands Bay. Whether you prefer to relax on the beach, go on adventurous hikes or learn a bit about the local culture, there's something for everyone.
