Sleeping up to 48 guests across three superb barns, The Courtyard Wales is the perfect destination for your next big group getaway. Located in the picturesque Carmarthenshire countryside close to Carmarthen, you’ll be staying near some of Wales’ most beautiful hills and cracking coastlines. These luxury barn conversions all sit on an 18th century farmstead that has an enviable position on the rolling hills above Carmarthen Bay. And to top it off you also have access to four hot tubs and an indoor heated swimming pool making your stay extra special.

The three barns on the property are Y Sgubor, Y Gweithdy and Y Stable. Each offers beautiful hardwood floors, exposed stonework walls, high beamed ceilings and supremely comfy and stylish bedrooms.

Y Sgubor, the largest of the three barns, sleeps up to 32 guests across 12 ensuite bedrooms. This barn also features a marvellous open plan living space that is home to a modern kitchen and dining area and a spacious lounge space with a log burning stove. The kitchen is superbly equipped to help you rustle up delicious feasts throughout your stay, and there’s space for a number of guests to sit on the bar stools keeping the designated chefs company as they work.

The huge living space also features a luxurious lounge, where you can get comfy with your loved ones with a nice drink. Or you might want to enjoy a movie night in your very own cinema room. Kids will love the children’s den area where they can have fun away from the rest of the group.

If you are bringing more than 32 guests with you, you can sleep an extra six adults and two children in both Y Gweithdy and Y Stabl. These two additional barns are nice and cosy and both have their own modern open plan kitchens.

When it comes to socialising you may wish to gather around the fire or kitchen in Y Sgubor, however, if you step outside, you’ve got an absolutely fantastic sunny terrace that is complete with outdoor seating, a BBQ and a pizza oven. This is the perfect place to spread out and take in your spectacular surroundings and try your hand at some alfresco meal prep. You may also wish to spend time relaxing in one of the four hot tubs that add an extra slice of luxury to your stay. Guest will even be able to enjoy a dip in the indoor swimming pool. What more could you want?

You’ll be glad to know that The Courtyard Wales is within easy reach of many charming market towns, idyllic beaches and historic castles. You’re nicely placed to enjoy coastal activities, cycling and mountain biking in the local area and keen walkers will also love the location close to the 870 mile long Wales Coast Path, which has a walking trail that runs alongside the property, through the farm.

However you choose to spend your days, when you arrive back at The Courtyard, you’ll be able to spread out and unwind in style with your loved ones before enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep in a superb, tranquil destination.
