This newly built luxury property has been designed upside down to make the most of the stunning panoramic sea views which you can enjoy from two large balconies which stretch the length of the house on two floors. With its huge, open living area and large, luxurious bedrooms, Sunrise would be the perfect choice for a large family get together or a special occasion.
Nestled on the top of Pendine Hill and overlooking seven miles of golden sandy beach with Carmarthen Bay and Gower Peninsula in the distance, this house is truly special.
Entering on the ground floor you'll find a large hallway decorated in a minimalist style which leads off into four luxurious king size bedrooms. All of them are decorated in pale soothing tones with sumptuous soft furnishings and each comes with opulent extras from waterfall showers and moveable studio lighting to Smart TV's and fabulous sea views. Patio doors lead out to the lower balcony where you'll find a sunken hot tub for six and four sun loungers.
In addition to the bedrooms the ground floor has a fully fitted laundry room and a family bathroom with a semi-sunken bath set beside a picture window with views of the sea.
Heading up the floating oak and glass staircase, lit by a rather fabulous LED chandelier, you'll arrive in the hub of the home; a vast open plan kitchen, dining and living room stretching across the full length of the house. The décor blends an industrial chic with plenty of big comfy sofas and chairs so that despite the size and the large bi-fold glass doors there is still a cosy feel to the place.
The kitchen is spacious and modern with a large central island, two Smeg ovens and a big American style fridge, it has everything you could need to whip up a magnificent feast for all. The dining area has a stylish oak table which seats ten, a cool warehouse style vibe and a cocktail cabinet with fitted wine fridges beneath so you can enjoy a pre-prandial cocktail without getting under the cook's feet! After dinner stretch out in the living area or make yourself comfy in the cinema room and catch a late movie on the 75” TV.
There's a fifth bedroom on this level with four single beds under a vaulted ceiling with countryside views. A great room for friends or kids happy to share with an additional shower room so no one has to queue in the morning.
If you need some space to work the owners have thoughtfully soundproofed an office for you – a fully glazed cube where you can sit in silence and enjoy the views and the light all around.
Out on the balcony you'll find rattan dining furniture, comfy seats and a BBQ for more clement evenings alfresco.
If you can bring yourself to leave this gorgeous haven you'll find plenty to see and do on your doorstep. Head to the promenade for a stroll and an ice cream. Hire a kayak, pop into Barnacles Beach Cafe for a snack or enjoy a pint at The Beach pub. Maybe visit Laugharne, a beautiful town, where Dylan Thomas lived for the last few years of his life, and have a drink at Brown's, the writer's favourite watering hole.
With over fifty beaches and 186 miles of spectacular coastlines to explore, you'll never be at a loss for something to do. And at the end of the day you can head back to Sunrise, crack open the cocktail cabinet, settle back and enjoy the view.
