Finca Es Costes sits in a peaceful suburb at the base of Puig De Maria, near Pollença. This offers guests the best of both worlds, a tranquil countryside setting but within easy reach of the charming Old Town. The luxurious villa blends seamlessly into these idyllic surroundings and boasts breathtaking views across the rugged landscape, you might even spot a scrambling mountain goat or soaring eagle! Perfect for families, especially those with young children, the stay has a large fenced pool and a kids’ playground.

The unique property showcases traditional Mallorcan architecture with a classy modern twist. Its authentic charm has been preserved, such as the exposed stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings. The upper floor houses the living areas and is characterised by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that flood the home with natural light and provide stunning vistas. There’s plenty of space for guests to relax and unwind in the main lounge, with comfy sofas and a smart TV for entertainment. Beyond here is a fully-fitted modern kitchen and large dining area.

All four bedrooms are found on the lower floor, accessed via a wooden staircase. They consist of three double rooms and one twin bedroom, three of which have ensuite bathrooms. One of the double rooms, a delightful master suite with a striking curved stone ceiling, is particularly spacious and has the option of two additional single beds, ideal for kids. This room also has access to a private terrace with outdoor seating.

A real highlight of this accommodation is its expansive outside space. Leading out from the kitchen is a gorgeous terrace seating area, the perfect spot for alfresco dining with a view. At the other side is the pool area, partially fenced to make it extra safe for children. Guests can bask in the Mediterranean sun then cool off in the pool, play a game of table tennis on the lush grassy lawn or fire up the wood oven and BBQ and spend evenings relaxing in style. Children can be kept occupied in the purpose-built play area.

The ancient and enchanting town of Pollença is just down the road from the villa. Unlike many other towns on the island, Pollença is relatively untouched by tourists and most of the residents there are locals, an ideal escape from the busier beach resorts. The town’s cobbled streets are lined with cafes and restaurants, and the bustling market stalls on a Sunday are not to be missed. Pollença’s port, Port de Pollença lies a few kilometres to the north. It has glorious sandy beaches and a further selection of restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
