  The Detail...

Breakaway from the rat race with these luxury historic beachside beauties. Salad Days and Holi Moli Beach Huts are just metres from the beach, offering far reaching views of Exmoor National Park with the romantic sound of steam trains in the distance. To the rear of the properties you will find an idyllic nature reserve, complete with a serene lake, giving accommodation to the areas abundant wildlife. Situated among a string of charming British beach huts, both offer an equally luxurious, but unique, 5-star experience.

Salad Days quintessential British charm and gracefully decorated interior invites a delightful combination of nostalgia for simpler times, and comfort in its subtle modernity. Bedecked in soothing summertime colours, youre sure to feel right at home. Inspired by the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, Holi Moli brings an array of vibrant colour to proceedings. By evoking the energy and celebratory nature of its namesake, this richly festooned hut will inspire feelings of renewal, ensuring your stay brings a sense of refreshment and revitalisation.

Both huts have an open planned layout, complete with underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, en-suite shower room, and an elevated king size bed with ample storage space underneath. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a welcome basket containing an array of sundries including tea, coffee, fudge and even local cider. All mod cons are provided here. Whether its toiletries, towels, DVDs, playing cards, local maps or binoculars for birdwatching, you wont be found wanting.

For those warm summer evenings recline in the gardens and admire the views, or head to the back garden for a look at the adjacent nature reserve. Both come equipped with table, chairs and sun loungers, and are ideal for a hint of birdwatching with your complimentary binoculars!

Should you wish to explore the local area then you are in luck. Nearby historic Dunster is a charming village, complete with winding medieval streets, along with an array of quaint shops, pubs, cafs and restaurants. Here you can explore the dramatically placed Dunster Castle, a centuries old country house with origins dating back to the 11th Century. In the spring and summer months, stop by Dunster National Park Centre for a free guided walk of this picturesque village. Donations are always welcome of course!

If youd rather stay away from urban life altogether, then try exploring the wonderfully scenic Exmoor National Park, go see the beautiful Quantock Hills, or walk some of the 630-mile South West Coast Path. You certainly wont be stuck for things to do at this beachside paradise.
