The Cosy Under Canvas campsite is a true one of a kind and includes luxury accommodation in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park. With no phone signal or electricity to get in your way, you can reconnect with loved ones the old-fashioned way. Cook on the open fire or follow the wild nature trails before swinging in the hammock or playing some of the woodland games. With enchanting forests, rolling fields and babbling mountain streams, this part of Southeast Wales is where you can live the real glamping dream.
The award-winning accommodation has been finished with an incredible attention to detail in its seven geo-domes. Raised off the woodland floor and with a robust finish, they each have a plethora of home comforts and quirky personal touches. Cosy beds and welsh woollen throws add to the homely-feel along with solar powered lighting and wood burning stoves. With their own private composting loos and shared woodland showers, they offer the best of outdoor living without any of the downsides.
For that added bit of indulgence these seven geo-domes include their own exclusive hot tubs beneath the lush forest canopy. Sleeping up to six people across one hand-made king size bed, double futon and two single futon mattresses, they are spacious places to relax in complete and utter comfort. Fluffy rugs and cacoon seats add to the cosy, chilled-out vibe, while the large clear front provides views over the woodland. Curl up by the campfire or in your own private hot tub and you can enjoy heavenly rural scenes and star-studded vistas.
Step beyond the veranda of your own little sanctuary and you’ll find excellent kitchen facilities and plenty to keep you busy. There are two shared open kitchens just a few steps from your home which have a mixture of gas stoves and a Rayburn Cooker. From here you can enjoy stunning country walks before trying one of the many exhilarating activities that can be found in the local area. Try gorge walking, mountain climbing or a spot of canoeing before relaxing in a country pub in one of charming towns and villages. The historic market town of Hay-on-Wye is just down the road and is famous for its vintage book shops and literary festival.
