For a special taste of the great outdoors in North Cornwall, just get cosy in one of the amazing Ekopods. Combining the excitement of camping with the luxury of a holiday cottage, you will find yourselves well-placed to explore Bodmin Moor and Cornwall’s rugged northern coast.
Your Ekopod comes in two parts, with the main pod providing the bedroom and living area, and the other housing the kitchen and bathroom. There’s a terrace too, where you can lie back and watch the stars or enjoy a barbecue.
An Ekopod is perfect for a romantic break done a little differently. You have a super king-size double bed with cosy goose down duvet and crisp white linens, as well as a wood-burning stove and comfy sofa. The sofa in each pod can be split into two singles, suitable for children if you want to bring the kids. The bathroom is impressively luxurious, with a bath tub, basin and flushing toilet making this pod feel more like a boutique hotel.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, including a gas stove and grill, sink, and a coolbox. There’s a kettle and complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate, so it will be easy to brew up as soon as you arrive.
Depending on your needs, you can choose from the original Peswara or the new larger Nessa and Eyl. All the pods are set in their own private space enjoy beautiful views of the countryside, as they are situated in acres of meadow, with woodland and moorland close by.
Around ten miles from Launceston, and about the same from Tintagel and Boscastle, there is plenty to explore in all directions. Recommended beaches like Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay are part of the Cornish experience, as are pretty harbours like Port Isaac, just over 30 minutes away.
Cornwall has become a foodie haven in recent years. Famous chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth have a place (or several) around these parts, but those without a celebrity name attached are well worth discovering too. The location of The Port William, in the cliffs at Trebarwith Strand, ensures the views are as special as the food.
With the likes of Looe, Polperro, Padstow and the Eden Project accessible within an hour, the options for a relaxing day out are endless… and spending your nights under canvas at your Ekopod will be just as memorable.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 2 nights low season & 3 nights high season
Cornwall Ekopods is owned and managed by Matt and Rachael.
Prices range from £109 per pod per night in low season to £190 per pod per night in high season. All prices are for 2 people. Extra people are £10 per person per night
