Discover the untouched beauty of Majorca’s striking Tramuntana Mountain range at Casa Lluna, a historic, stone-clad townhouse hidden far off the tourist trail. Located in the small town of Campanet, it is privy to some of the most captivating views in the town and has a peaceful residential setting that is quite simply divine. Just half an hour away from the pretty coastal towns of Pollensa and Alcudia, the villa is ideal for enjoying the tranquillity of mountain life along with the traditional island sights.
Villa Lluna has undergone a complete renovation and has been masterfully re-built into a luxurious and modern residence. Downstairs there is a stylish open-plan living and kitchen room that has a sumptuous seating area recessed around an open, log fireplace. Exposed stone walls and sturdy wooden furniture give it a rustic charm while the sleek kitchen, chic fittings and high ceilings add a contemporary style.
From the spacious living room, doors open out onto the paved, outdoor terrace where sun loungers rest beside the 8x3M private pool. Rugged stone steps lead up to a magnificent sun deck which has stunning mountain views and a cosy, built-in seating area. Here, al fresco dining and evening drinks can be enjoyed whilst you wonder over the exquisite natural vistas.
The spacious villa sleeps up to 12 across three double en-suite bedrooms and two bunk rooms. Each of the doubles, one on the ground and two on the first floor, have crisp white walls and luxury bedding, while the bunk rooms are sleek and compact. The bunk rooms each have four full-size single beds and are ideal for kids or young adults alike. For extra room, children will also love the basement living space that is complete with an L-shaped sofa, football table and satellite TV.
Unlike many of the local coastal towns, Campanet has remained largely untouched by tourism and offers visitors a glimpse into authentic, island life. The traditional market square has a handful of small local shops and is home to a delightful market which can be enjoyed once a week. Beyond Campanet, the bustling coastal areas of Pollensa and Alcudia offer a great selection of golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, while the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tramuntana Mountains are right on your doorstep.
