As you arrive, you’ll fall in love with the surrounding scenery, with beautiful forests and a gorgeous valley sprawling out around you. Exmoor is also home to some fabulous wildlife that you may spot during your stay, including local deer, foxes and buzzards.
When you step inside the shepherd’s hut, you’ll love the charming, rustic interior. Fire up the wood-burner on cooler days and stay cosy as you prepare a tasty meal in the quaint kitchenette, which features oak worktops, a Belfast sink, an electric oven, a fridge and a microwave. Underfloor heating throughout also keeps your feet warm on cold days, so you can rest assured knowing you’ll be toasty whatever the weather outside.
However, on warmer days, spend your time outside in the summer sunshine in your private garden. Here, you’ll find the wood-fired hot tub for two, as well as a quaint alfresco dining table and a firepit for evenings spent stargazing with a drink in hand.

The historic village of Dunster is under two miles away and offers a charming mix of restaurants, pubs, cafés and independent shops. You'll also find fascinating historical sites including the impressive Dunster Castle (National Trust) and many other heritage landmarks.
