There are seven rooms to choose from, each with their own unique design and decorated to blend modern style with traditional touches. Loch Ness sleeps up to four guests with the option of a twin or double bed accompanied by bunk beds. It also has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and terrace with amazing views across Fort Augustus and the River Oich.

Lock Lochy is a king size room with a freestanding bath, separate en-suite shower room, and terrace. Nessie has two sets of bunk beds and an accompanying shower room and can be joined with the Nevis room - which has a king size bed and en-suite shower - to create a larger suite which is perfect for a family. Loch Oich is a flexible room which can sleep up to three guests, with the option of a double or twin and a separate sofa bed. It also has an en-suite shower room. Finally, Neptune and Loch Dochfour sleep two guests each, with the former being either a double or twin and the latter a king size. Both also have en-suite bathrooms.

The Caledonian Canal Centre itself is a living museum, offering a chance to explore the rich history of the area. Fort Augustus also has one of the best vistas across Loch Ness and is the ideal place to explore the famous stretch of water. Take a leisurely cruise out past Cherry Island and enjoy all the views available, or alternatively get an adrenalin fix on one of the speedy RIB vessels.

The property also sits on the Great Glen, the 62 mile stretch that runs from Inverness to Fort William and offers the chance to travel by foot, bike, or boat among spectacular surroundings. Meanwhile, history lovers may enjoy the Clansman Centre, while golf fans should try out the hidden gem which is Fort Augustus Golf Course.
