Built over 500 years ago for an influential Venetian family, Palazzo Garzoni Moro was restored and converted into spacious modern apartments in 2017. This elegant Gothic building rises from the waters of the Canal Grande, one of the city’s most important thoroughfares. An ideal way to explore the city is by water taxi or gondola.
A 10 minute walk from the iconic St. Mark’s Square, Ca’ Garzoni Moro is located in the heart of Venice. The city’s art galleries, museums, and restaurants are within easy reach of the ‘Salina’ apartment.
Despite its central location, this a quiet, calm spot. The apartment is equipped with modern furnishings and design, and bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage. The bright living space is linked to the open-plan kitchen. Comfortable sofas by a window are perfect for stretching out with a book or magazine. The dining room table seats 6 for breakfast together or an evening meal.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, grill, toaster, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. It even has an inbuilt wine cooler for a chilled glass at the end of a day’s sightseeing.
‘Salina’ has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are double rooms. The third bedroom can be set up as a twin room, or the beds pushed together to make a large double. This can be requested when booking.The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there is an additional bathroom for the rest of the apartment. There is a washing machine available for use in the apartment.
The building has a lift, and is equipped with air conditioning. If visiting in cooler months, underfloor heating keeps the apartment cosy. Catch up on satellite channels on the 42” flat screen TV and connect to WiFi, provided free of charge in the apartment.
Venice is rich in history, art, and culture. Visit the Guggenheim Foundation for modern art, featuring works by Picasso, Miro, and Kandinsky amongst others.The Doge’s Palace is one of Venice’s most iconic buildings, and is now open as a museum. St. Mark’s Square, with its clock tower and basilica, is a focal point in the city. Ca’ Garzoni Moro is within walking distance of the open-air antiques market of San Maurizio. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby.
