This is a rare opportunity to holiday in a newly renovated oast house (traditionally used for drying hops), incorporating the unusual combination of a square and round oast. The house has been furnished to a high standard and offers luxurious accommodation, ideal for couples and small families.
The rooms are beautifully decorated with a mix of antique and contemporary styles which contribute to creating a truly memorable holiday.
Get cosy by the fireplace in the lounge. This charming room is spacious and features double aspect windows and patio doors that open up onto the terrace and garden beyond. The room offers lovely views and has a smart TV with Sky TV. There's also a desk and a card table should you fancy a game.
The kitchen is fully fitted and features an electric style Aga called an Everhot, a dishwasher, a double Butler sink, a fridge/freezer and yet more patio doors that open up to the terrace.
When bedtime beckons, the master bedroom features a king size bed with double aspect windows, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The second bedroom has a king size bed that can be set up as two twins if needed. This space also has a fabulous freestanding bath tub, where you can indulge in a relaxing soak after a busy day out and about.
The house and garden are set within a private estate and there are wonderful views, from all rooms, across the Weald of Kent, a designated AONB. This Kent holiday home has a wow factor and is a real rose amongst the thorns.
The rural location offers a haven of peace and tranquillity with miles of footpaths - including the famous 'Greensand Way' - on your doorstep, yet it is only 10 minutes from the quaint town of Sevenoaks for shopping, dining and entertainment. It is also ideally located for visiting the many National Trust and heritage properties in Kent such as Hever Castle (home of Anne Boleyn) Penshurst Place, Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Chartwell (home to Sir Winston Churchill). Both Rochester and Canterbury Cathedrals are also within an hour's drive and London is also only 30 minutes away by train.
