It also has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all other essential cooking equipment and kitchenware.
Step out of the bi-fold doors and onto the large decked area, which is perfect for enjoying the sunshine, alfresco dining, or an evening drink. Here there is also a six-person hot tub and a sauna to help eliminate stress.
Sleeping up to six people, the lodge's master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and views across neighbouring Druidstone wildlife park. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed and plenty of storage areas, as well as a stunning copper bath for those who want to relax and unwind. A double sofa bed in the living area can also sleep a further couple, making the lodge ideal for either a romantic getaway or a friends' retreat.
The wet room with its two rainforest shower heads and under-floor heating is also a great touch for those looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let their worries drift away.
For those wanting to get out and about, the wildlife park is a great day out with its 12 acres of enchanted woodland, gardens and animals - from peacocks to alpacas. The Royal Oak pub is just 50 yards from Honey Lodge Retreat and has an extensive menu, beer garden and roof terrace.
A short drive will take guests to Whitstable and all its charm and culture right by the sea. Seafood and other delicacies can be enjoyed at the many pubs and restaurants, or take some produce home from the fish market. Leave a reviewWonderful place! Very cozy and warm. Perfect location for seaside day trips. The lodge is well laid out with beautiful views. The log burning fire and hot tub are a treat. I took my small dog there too, and it was great to find a well enclosed garden. Perfect retreat x
