This good-looking 17th century coaching inn sits in peaceful Norfolk countryside, halfway between Norwich and the sea. Although renovated and expanded, it's still a proper country pub and overlooks the village green and cricket pitch. Flint outbuildings have been turned into six luxurious bedrooms with contemporary bathrooms and some with freestanding roll-top tubs.
