Wake up to the sound of leather on willow, in rooms overlooking a quintessential village green in the pretty Norfolk countryside. The Brisley Bell is situated between the sea and the city making it the perfect location for exploring the lovely surroundings. All six of the bedrooms are spacious, light and bright and decorated tastefully and with a nod to the plentiful character of this 17th century former coaching inn. The rooms sit inside renovated barns next to the pub, and are all on the ground floor.
Hunny and Troose are the large, dual-aspect, double rooms. They both boast super king beds dressed with quality linens, roll top baths in the bedrooms and modern, fashionably-furnished en-suite bathrooms. The slightly smaller, but no less impressive, Stewkey and Windum rooms have king and super king sized beds respectively.  In Windum, a pretty communal courtyard can be accessed via patio doors and dual aspect windows ensure the room is filled with natural light. And Stewkey overlooks the inn's pretty herb garden. Both rooms have lovely large bathrooms with rainfall showers suspended over roll top bathtubs.
The final two rooms, Hindol and Beeler, can either be used as a super king or twin beds and are both situated on ground level. They have exceptional bathrooms, large and beautifully decorated with large floral feature walls in the walk-in showers.
This pretty part of the British Isles is quiet and relatively unexplored, it has a smaller population than in the middle ages, however its rich culture and beautiful surroundings ensure there is plenty for all to enjoy. This truly is a year round destination. In summer, guests can take advantage of the beautifully-designed two acres of garden which provides visitors with an idyllic spot to enjoy a drink amongst the pretty flowers and lush foliage.
During winter months, pull on those walking boot for a muddy romp exploring the footpaths, or head to the coast for some beach-combing before curling up in front of the roaring log fire or propping up the bar getting to know the friendly locals. For relaxing strolls the Norfolk Broads, lovely coastline and pretty lanes are just a short drive away.Â
