This cosy shepherd’s hut in Eastern Poland sits in the stunning Southern Roztocze Landscape Park, in a picturesque village amidst ancient forests. Inspired by the traditional pastoral dwellings of the region, this charming stay for two offers couples a true romantic retreat.
When you step inside, the interiors are quaint and cosy. A log-burning fireplace keeps things toasty and warm whatever the weather outside, and a super-comfy double bed sits at one end of the hut guaranteeing you a peaceful night’s sleep. In the morning, wake and make the most of the lovely views from the comfort of your bed, thanks to the giant window that runs down the length of the bed. This is the ideal spot for your first coffee of the day.
The hut also has a compact kitchen that makes whipping up a romantic meal a breeze. There’s an induction cooker, a Bialetti coffee maker, a coffee press and more. Then, when dinner’s ready, dine together on the cute table for two inside, or head outside into the summer sunshine and fresh air and dine alfresco in style.
Back inside, the shepherd’s hut has a modern ensuite bathroom that has a small but sufficient shower. This space is lovely and stylish thanks to the beautiful terrazzo tiled floor, whilst the shower space features designer green bricks. Warm wooden panels also feature, creating a calming, pleasant atmosphere.
On hot days you can unwind together in the fresh air, delving into a good book or exploring the stunning surrounding scenery. There’s also a cosy outdoor fire with a steak plate and fish grill, so you can get to work grilling up some delicious local produce and toast marshmallows until the stars come out. There’s also a stream running through the plot and a local rabbit has made its home nearby, so you can relax in your private hammock in peace whilst taking in the local wildlife.
