West Barn Lodge is a beautifully restored former farm building in rural Wiltshire that features marvellous reclaimed features and antique furnishings that give the space an abundance of character. Sleeping a total of 20 guests, this amazing stay offers large groups a fabulous place to spread out and socialise together in style.

When you arrive, you’ll be blown away by the picturesque surroundings. The former farm building sits amidst rolling fields, overlooking the Fovant downs near Salisbury, and offers you and your loved ones an abundance of peace and tranquility.

Step inside and gather in the giant, open-plan living space. Here, super-high ceilings combine with exposed stonework to create a sense of true grandeur. Comfy sofas sit at one end, offering a lovely spot to enjoy a drink and catch up with loved ones. At the other end of this sprawling space, two large dining tables set the scene for epic feasts that stretch into the night. There are a number of other cosy seating areas, where you can retire with a nice warm cuppa and enjoy some peace away from the rest of the group. And, if you fancy challenging your loved ones to a game of pool, there’s a fab pool table in one of these spaces for fun and games.

Throughout the home the decor is carefully thought out, and stylish touches add a bit of class to your stay. There’s even a grand piano at West Barn Lodge, along with lovely mood lighting and wonderful artwork throughout.

When it comes to preparing meals, the kitchen is nicely equipped with modern appliances that budding chefs will love. There’s also a BBQ outside, should you wish to grill up some delicious local produce in the summer sun.

If you do head outside, you’ll love the abundant outdoor space, where there’s a huge alfresco dining area for social lunches in the fresh country air. Afterwards, head to your private hot tub where you can enjoy an indulgent soak with a glass of bubbles whilst taking in your surroundings.

When night falls, you’ll have nine luxurious super-king bedrooms to choose from, five of which can be converted into twin beds on request. Each room has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, featuring Hypnos pocket sprung mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets and sumptuous goose down bedspreads to ensure a restful break away from home. Every bedroom includes its own ensuite bathroom - complete with a mix of baths and showers - for added privacy and convenience. In the morning, wake up refreshed to expansive views of the surrounding countryside, all but guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep.

The owners are pleased to offer a range of extra activities to enhance your stay. Available by prior arrangement and at an additional cost, these experiences include clay pigeon shooting, serene picnics at the Rotunda, relaxing yoga sessions, indulgent beauty treatments and immersive foraging experiences. Please note that some activities may be subject to seasonal availability.

West Barn Lodge is located within the picturesque Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is a haven for outdoor lovers, offering stunning chalk downlands, ancient woodlands and vibrant wildlife. Lace up your boots for scenic walks like the Win Green–Tollard Royal circuit, where wildflowers, historic ridgeways and panoramic views await. Explore archaeology with visits to Neolithic Dorset Cursus and Bronze Age barrow cemeteries, or wander through the enchanting Victorian Larmer Tree Gardens. And, when night falls, stargaze beneath some of the country’s darkest skies - Cranborne Chase is a certified International Dark Sky Reserve.
