Situated at the heart of Hinterland country, this beautiful estate offers versatile and flexible accommodation. Surrounded by the most majestic mountains, forests and beaches that Mid Wales has to offer, you and your fellow visitors can experience the other-worldly beauty of the region, while you holiday together or share in a grand celebration.
The Estate itself offers an array of different places to sleep, meaning it can accommodate nice big groups of up to 50 guests! The fully refurbished Barn is the focal point of the entire estate and has been cleverly divided into three separate, but equally beautiful spaces. The Pumlumon House is an airy space, full of contemporary touches combined with traditional charm. Offering four separate suites, the calm ambience and soaring countryside views will ensure a restful stay for groups of up to 16 guests.
The Cambrian House is a five star graded retreat that offers a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of panache. Dogs are welcome to stay here and there is a bubbling hot tub with a stupendous view out across the countryside, for you and your two legged friends to enjoy. This stunning and unique property can comfortably accommodate up to 17 guests.
The Barcud Balcony is a romantic hideaway thats boasts a private entrance, stunning vaulted ceilings and its very own exclusive patio with seating area. This cosy rural retreat is perfect for smaller groups. The Pumlumon, The Cambrian and The Barcud can be interconnected to offer a fully inclusive experience for larger groups.
The beautiful Barn is also home to the Great Hall with its vast windows, vaulted ceilings and modern décor that combine to create the perfect space for special celebrations. Dine en masse with space for up to 50 covers, host a celebration or even convert it into your own private cinema.
The Farmhouse at the Tynrhyd Retreat is a breathtaking self-catering farm house that sleeps up to 12 guests. With stunning panoramic views out across the Cambrian Mountains, this is the perfect place to enjoy this rural idyll. Offering a heady blend of rustic chic, gothic archways and Welsh country interiors, the Farmhouse has been beautifully decorated and designed to ensure your stay feels tailor made.
Each of the various accommodations is fully catered and includes everything you and your guests could ever wish for. From fluffy towels in that bathrooms, to champagne glasses in the cupboards, Tynrhyd Retreat is like a home away from home, or maybe even better!
Step outside any of the gorgeous guest rooms and explore the 13 acres of open space the estate calls its own. You can relax in the spa hot tub that can seat 10 people, or get competitive with a game of American billiards or table tennis in the games room.
Take a stroll along the onsite nature trail, or head out a little further to see the beautiful Devil’s Bridge Falls, as featured on the BBC’s Hinterland series. The nearby Vale of Rheidol has plenty of cosy country pubs and local shops for you to enjoy, and the historic town of Aberystwyth with its beautiful beaches is just a 10 minute drive away.
