An enticing retreat, Westbrook Court Country House boasts stunning far reaching views across the Wye Valley. This unique nine bedroom, eight bathroom property, set across three acres, comprises an interior designed, 17th century extended farmhouse with a contemporary separate black timber clad guest annexe, in addition to several individual lounge spaces for celebrations and events including a large dining hall with seating for 21 or more for a stand up canape affair. Features include wide open spaces, XL hot tub, kadai area for stargazing , games room with ping pong table, dart board and fitness zone with weights, separate workshop room, outside dining courtyard with bbq and views.
The nine bedrooms are all king size, and in three of the guest suites, there are three large single sofa beds, so can easily sleep 21 adults. Extra blow up camp beds are available for children.
There is a huge kitchen set up to cater for large groups, with an induction range cooker with four ovens and five hobs plus a combination microwave, large USA style fridge/freezer, two dishwashers, two bar fridges and ample counter space and storage for crockery and foodstuffs. Offered as a self catering house hoever there are three professional caterers that can offer casual sharing platters or a more formal silver service at all price points.
Plenty of relaxing spaces outside to sit and gaze out at the far distant views with cocktail in hand.
For those of you who wish to venture out and explore from the doorstep, the surrounding countryside is awash with lovely walking routes up a hill or across a waymarked field. Hike around the Golden Valley or wander the edge of the riverside path from Hay as it winds its way through pretty woodland and a pebble beach for wild swimming. The market town of Hay on Wye is nearby and is a must for book-lovers. Other activities to enjoy include spa treatments (which you can have in your room at Westbrook Court), foraging excursions, botanical gin making, Viking Games (including axe throwing and archery workshops) and much more.

The property can also accommodate extra guests (adults and children) on sofabeds and camp beds.
There are three sofa beds in Rooms 2, 3, 4 and also five blow-up beds that
can go in all the rooms apart from Room 9. So overall we can sleep an
additional 8 guests making our total guest count 26, plus any babes in arms.
There will be a charge of £25 per adult/child for a large single sofa
bed to be made up, plus a £15 charge for blow up beds to be made up for
children up to 12 (these are not suitable for adults). We also have one
travel cot, free of charge, but guests need to bring their own cot
bedding and bed linen. These costs are per stay, not per night.
