Stylish yurts hidden on a Somerset organic farm - ideal for a peaceful and luxurious glamping treat.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
Hidden on an organic dairy farm in South Somerset is this unique and peaceful glamping retreat. Designed exclusively for adults, the sanctuary contains four luxurious yurts which have idyllic woodland views. With nothing but the sound of nature to interrupt your thoughts, this little haven is ideal for those who want to get away from it all.
Built on their own bespoke redwood platforms, the 20 foot yurts offer superior camping accommodation with a spacious and stylish finish. The white canvas walls and criss-crossed wooden frames make a water tight cover, while the vintage drawers, hardwood floors and pretty furnishings create a modern design. Here, electric lamps and luxury double beds are combined with a rustic log burner to give you a modern yet natural feel. Outside, each yurt also has its own south-facing decking where you can watch the birds fly by before stargazing beneath the clear night skies.
Ensuring that you have all of the home comforts that you could need, each yurt has its own adjacent private bathroom containing a fully flushing toilet and sink. A personal shower room is also housed here or in the retreat’s central lodge, where an impressive country kitchen and communal living area can also be found. With views over the expansive countryside, the kitchen has all of the cooking utensils and equipment that you could need with a cosy living room just upstairs.
If you can bear to leave, there is much to see and do in the local area including stunning woodland walks and a variety of outdoor activities. Devon and Dorset’s World Heritage Jurassic Coastline is just a short drive away and is a must to see with dramatic coastal views and breath-taking cliff-top walks. The local villages and towns are also full of interesting local shops and markets to visit and have an array of exquisite country pubs and restaurants to enjoy. But with an exclusive countryside setting and stylish accommodation, you may find it hard to leave your own private yurt.
There is a minimum of a two night stay at this property.
