The Old Rectory is a beautiful rural home set among 15-acres of gorgeous gardens and countryside in the heart of Suffolk. Located in the small village of Kettlebaston, the converted rectory offers guests a retreat from everyday life thanks to its peaceful surroundings and serene landscape views. Ideal for families or groups, there is much to keep guests entertained on-site but also further afield, thanks to its excellent location. Keep the kids occupied on the trampoline or playing a spot of tennis in the summer sun.
The house itself offers six spacious bedrooms with varying bed configurations to suit all needs. There are two doubles with en-suite bathrooms, two further doubles, and two twin rooms. There are also another two shower rooms available. Every bedroom is decorated in-keeping with its rural surroundings, while every bed benefits from Egyptian cotton sheets and large, fluffy towels.
The dining room, is cosy yet grand, and will make meal times a real treat. It features a table big enough for 12, meaning you can all sit down together and enjoy meals as a group. There is even a 12 person table in the kitchen so you may also wish to dine there. The kitchen has been renovated to a lovely standard and is fully equipped to whip up an enviable roast. It also has French windows that open up onto the south-facing terrace which is complete with a BBQ meaning you can prepare some lovely al fresco meals to enjoy in the evening sunshine.
The Old Rectory has two comfy and cosy sitting rooms, offering a delightful spot to socialise in the evenings with your loved ones. Both rooms have wood burning fireplaces to ensure you stay nice and warm all year round.

Found in the idyllic country of Suffolk, The Old Rectory is surrounding by stunning countryside, with a choice of quaint villages in the local area to discover. The base village of Kettlebaston is around three miles from Lavenham, a historic 13th Century wool town which boasts the Guild Hall National Trust property and an awe-inspiring church. Aldeburgh and Southwold are also both just over an hour away and are well worth a visit.
Whether you're travelling by car, bike or on foot, there is so much to explore, including "Constable Country" which is as picturesque as you can imagine. Fancy a trip to the beach? Head to the sandy coastline with Frinton, Walton and Felixstowe about an hour away by car. Avid hikers will not be disappointed by the array of walking trails accessible very easily from The Old Rectory.
