The accommodation is set across just one floor, and from the moment you enter you will see just how care and attention has gone into this stunning conversion. The large, open plan reception area offer wooden floors, exposed brickwork and rustic oak beams. As you pass through to the fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine, range cooker, microwave and “Smeg” fridge freezer, you really will get a sense of the first class accommodation on offer. With solid wood cabinets, and well stocked cupboards you will have everything you need to prepare your own meals during your stay.
The dining area is home to a rustic wood table that comfortably seats 4, and is perfect for enjoying a lazy breakfast or a warm family meal. Feel the warmth of the sun shine through the patio windows as you enjoy your first coffee on the day in this divine holiday hideaway.
The sitting room area is cosy, yet contemporary and is a great spot to catch up with what’s on the box or snuggle down in front of the cosy log burner. With Scandinavian style easy chairs, and a sofa for two, the sitting room is a heady mix of comfort and contemporary design features.
A quirky addition to the house is the beautifully designed day room. Leather sofas, faux fur throws, a wingback chair and plenty of beams and bricks enhance the rustic feel of this former barn. The large patio doors afford views out across the fully enclosed pretty rear garden, allowing you to bring the outside in when the weather allows.
The Old Butcher's Store has two bedrooms, both of which have en-suite facilities. With sumptuous linens, stylish bedroom furniture and the same standard of luxury as the rest of the house, you certainly won’t lose any sleep here.
The master bedroom has wood panelled feature walls and a supremely comfortable double bed. It also has it's very own access to the courtyard garden through the sizeable patio doors. Outside the Old Butcher's Stores, there is private access to two separate courtyard gardens. There is garden furniture and even a barbecue for long lazy evenings spent enjoying all those gorgeous Norfolk sausages that the county is so famous for.
The bustling little village of Heacham, is the perfect base for exploring the many miles of beautiful coastline and traditional seaside towns and villages that surround it. For those who like to walk or cycle, The Old Butcher's Stores is within easy reach of Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path as well as several RSPB sites. The original Gothic Caley Mill, with its rare exposed waterwheel is also close by. The nearest beach is just a seven minute drive or a 20 minute walk away.
