The Details...

Woven into the poetic tapestry of the remote Yorkshire Dales, The Lodges at Artlegarth are waiting to tell their tale. Looking out across the secluded fells and the mysterious open moors, they each have a romantic glimpse of natures treasured lures. Spy the scurrying red squirrels and the skilful mountain sheep, along with the soaring birds of prey and the prancing, local deer. Ramble through the pretty farm landscapes and up the craggy hilltop peaks, discovering lyrical river valleys and the stunning Lakelands scenes.

The Lodges at Artlegarth are designed to make the most of this untouched, natural beauty and offer luxurious living in the heart of the country. Overlooking the Howgill and Wild Boar fells in their own seven acre rural estate, they offer a tranquil backdrop for your epic, country escape. Expect toasty outdoor hot tubs and sparkling starry nights, topped off with designer interiors and plenty of natural light.

The lodges are split into two bespoke animal collections and include the classic Bird lodges and the contemporary Sheep cabins. Both have been expertly crafted from solid wood timbers and boast sumptuous furnishings and breath-taking panoramas.

The cosy bird-named lodges have been finished with a traditional country vibe and blend bare wood, floral prints and vintage animal designs. Theres a comfy living room and a well-equipped family kitchen, next to two double bedrooms and a bunkroom for the children. Head out onto the private outdoor deck to find your hot tub with a view, where you can soak away the days adventures with a glass of bubbly or two.

For a more modern space, opt for the Swaledale, Herdwick or Rough Fell retreats, which have been lovingly named after breeds of local sheep. Each has a spacious open-plan layout with a chic living-kitchen area, along with three double/twin bedrooms and three sophisticated bathrooms. Look out for the pale timbers and the lofty, vaulted ceilings, framing the funky bird prints and artistic stylings. Watch the beautiful wildlife from your indulgent hot tub terrace, or curl up indoors by the roaring log fireplace.

If you can tear yourself away from the comfort of your lodge, then the local area is full of natural splendours. Explore the flourishing Eden Valley or the ancient Yorkshire Dales or the shimmering Lake District with its vibrant fells. The quaint village of Ravenstonedale is just one mile away, while the market town of Kirkby Stephen is just a few miles further on. You can tee off on the local golf course or go fishing in Bessy Becks, before treating yourself to some home-cooked food and relaxing on your hot tub deck.
