The detail

This is glamping like you've never seen before. Dinobus is a converted yellow American school bus come ski chalet, decked out with cosy furnishings, sleeping up to five guests comfortably. Ideal for an unforgettable family holiday experience, Dinobus is fun, quirky and truly unique. And with its excellent location on a lovely farm not too far from the beautiful Polzeath beach in north Cornwall, there is plenty of choice for the whole family nearby. Make the most of being by the beach or venture further afield to explore the delights of the Cornish countryside.

On the outside it's an iconic yellow school bus, and on the inside a snug ski chalet crafted from reclaimed wood and complemented with cosy soft furnishings. Sleeping on the bus is surprisingly comfortable, with four bunk beds each with a sumptuous Simba mattress to sink into. There is a lovely living area with sofas and a television for those lazy rainy days and evenings in. The bus also manages to squeeze in a games table, ping pong table and mini coffee bar. Plus, thanks to its power, solar panels and heating, your home comforts need not be missed while aboard the eccentric Dinobus. Showers and toilets can be found on site, and you can barbecue outside while watching the sun go down.

Dinobus is situated just one-mile from the famous Polzeath beach in Cornwall. The beach offers golden sands and shimmering blue water, and is perfect for watersports or simply relaxing. Try your hand at surfing, spot dolphins, explore caves and go rock-pooling. Then, at the end of an action-packed day, why not dine out at one of the local eateries, offering delicious local produce? And if you're all beached out, there is plenty more to explore locally with some of England's most stunning walking trails and cycle paths nearby.
