The Detail...
Wake up to the waves lapping the shore at Starfish House - a beautiful holiday home right on Whitstable Beach. This stylish property has been recently renovated to become the perfect getaway for family or friends.
Sleeping up to eight guests, the entrance hallway on the ground floor leads to two of the four bedrooms. Both are king size and have plenty of storage and share a family bathroom with overhead shower. Also on this level is the open plan kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and built-in oven and induction hob. There is also a dining table with chairs and a bench seating up to eight people. French doors open out onto the outdoor decking, which offers stunning views and direct access to the beach via the sea wall.
Heading upstairs takes guests to the TV area on the first floor landing, complete with Smart TV and two-seater sofa. From here there is access to the master bedroom with a king size bed and the bathroom with walk-in shower. The lounge is on this level, with L-shaped sofa, Smart TV and gas effect wood burning stove. There is also a first floor outdoor deck accessed by French doors, which is a great sun trap. Finally, the second floor is home to the fourth and final bedroom, which is a twin.
When the sun is out the Kent seaside town of Whitstable sparkles. Roll up your trousers and head down onto the pebbled beach for a paddle or to soak up those rays. Alternatively head into one of the several great pubs, including the Old Neptune which is right on the water’s edge. Or there is the very foodie Sportsman, or beachfront shack The Forge with its local beer and excellent fish and chips. Also on the beach is The Lobster Shack, famed for its oysters.
The town itself is just a short walk away and is home to an array of independent shops, including Gatefield Sounds and Bottom Records for music lovers. For those art lovers there are also many galleries with the Fishslab Gallery in an old fishmongers and Chappell Contemporary with its limited edition prints.
