This magnificent period property, dating back to the 13th century, truly is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Beautifully decorated and steeped in history, it’s the perfect place for a lavish group getaway. Originally built as a rectory in the 13th century, Sinclair House had a major extension in 1676 and a Georgian façade added in the Victorian era. Today, this listed building stands proudly in its lush green grounds, waiting to welcome you for an unforgettable stay.
Stepping through the elegant front door, you’ll discover a wonderfully spacious abode, radiating the warmth of a family home. Each room has its own unique style and you’ll find artistic flourishes and curated treasures everywhere you look. The beautiful living room, with its opulent sofas and sparking chandeliers, is flooded with natural light. This calming space is the perfect place for everyone to gather, away from the distractions of everyday life.
The spacious, open-plan kitchen is a chef’s delight. Here you’ll find everything you need to cook for a large group as well as a table for informal dining. For evening celebrations, head to the dining room to eat in style at the formal dining table. This amazing room also boasts a beautiful fireplace and many interesting artefacts.
When night time beckons, the seven bedrooms are all comfortably furnished and each has its own unique charm. Expect to find luxurious en suites, magnificent views and comfortable reading chairs.
Sinclair House is a wonderfully sociable space but it also offers plenty of opportunities for a bit of me-time. Why not escape to the study, with its book-lined shelves and tranquil views across the meadow; cosy up in the snug in front of a good film, or visit the relaxation and wellness room to indulge in a relaxing massage or enjoy a state-of-the-art workout.

There’s also a fabulous, undercover stone bothy, which provides respite from the sun on a hot day and is the perfect place to gather around the built-in fireplace on a chilly evening.
