Situated just above the stunning Eype beach, Seaspray is a pretty little seaside cottage, perfect for a getaway with the family. This cosy holiday cottage provides a tranquil haven where you can escape from busy everyday life and relax in peace and quiet by the ocean.
Once you step inside the cottage, you’ll find that it’s bright and airy and beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and colours inspired by the seaside. The cosy and well-equipped kitchen overlooks the spacious living room. Inviting sofas and warm lighting make this the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach or exploring the local villages. In the two bedrooms, there are zip and link beds which mean that you can choose between two singles or a luxurious super king size double. Towels and dressing gowns are provided and there’s a power shower in the bathroom.
On those glorious sunny Dorset days, take the cooking outside with the gas barbecue on your own private decking. Outside tables and chairs and the pretty countryside scenery make this a wonderful space to sit out and take it all in.
It’s just a short stroll down to the beach which is one of the most beautiful that Dorset has to offer. It’s dog-friendly too so any four-legged friends can come along for the holiday. A short way up the coast, you’ll reach West Bay, which some might recognise from the popular TV show Broadchurch. Here you’ll find the westernmost end of the stunning 18 mile long Chesil beach. If you explore further along the coast, you’ll come to other famous Jurassic Coast landmarks such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
The pretty Symondsbury Estate is a quick five-minute drive away and makes for a lovely day trip. Wander around the village and take in the beautifully restored buildings, some of which were built around 600 years ago. A thirty-minute walk to the top of Colmers Hill will give you a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and right out to the coast. Make your way back down into the village and stop off at Symondsbury Kitchen for a drink and a bite to eat before exploring some of the local shops.
