The Detail...
This beautiful old farmhouse has undergone a seamless and surprising transition from old country farmhouse to a modern stylish villa. Created by retail design experts, the house is adorned with a curious and lively selection of modern art and decorative ornaments, blending old and new with style.
Set along the coast of Brittany facing the sea, it’s a quiet and picturesque location ideal for family holidays. The beautiful stone structure’s charming rustic character has been restored and retained but a new modern wing has been added to expand the house. Effortlessly cool but still keeping its farmhouse charm.
Divided between the ground floor and the first floor, each of the five bedrooms offer unique customised design. The dormitory duplex is ideal for the kids with four singles tucked between two levels with private bath. Two attic bedrooms are perched in the eaves with lovely seaside views while the two en suite masters are positioned in separate wings for complete peace and privacy. There is Wi-Fi throughout and a games room with a 64 inch plasma screen, a 5.1 Bowers and Wilkins home cinema system, blu ray player, video game console, library and movie library. There is a state of the art LD130 audio system throughout the house. Ample parking is provided.
Situated on the beach with miles of beautiful coastline, the village of Penvenan is adjacent to some of the more interesting beaches in the region including Cote de Granit Rose with its pink sands and the seaside village of Tregastel with its picturesque quay and long beach. Many rocky formations and islets dot the shoreline with visits to Ile Brehat, Morlaix and the fortified island of Plouezoch are ideal for day trips. The port town of Lannion sits along the nearby River Leguer and is a lively and historic town.
