The Details...

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, this beautiful Holiday Barn can sleep up to 24 guests, making it the perfect home from home for your next countryside adventure or family get together.

Having been renovated in 2008, The Barn retains plenty of its original rustic character, but has been fully upgraded to offer stunning luxury accommodation with mid century accents, exposed walls and a mixture of varnished wood and slate flooring. To add to the rest and relaxation, guests can enjoy the new wood burning hot tub that is available to hire. The tub can fit a whopping 16 people, meaning it's a great place for big groups to relax and unwind.

Situated close to the town of Bakewell and Buxton, this holiday hideaway is perfect for large groups celebrating weddings and family occasions, or those just looking to spend time together in a luxurious rural setting.

Step inside to discover truly beautiful accommodation, plenty big enough to offer sumptuous communal areas as well as thoroughly private spaces for sleep and relaxation.

The spacious open plan lounge is on the first floor, and really makes the most of the expansive rural views right outside your door. Separated from the dining room by double glazed doors, the lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the Peak District.

With a large grit stone fire place with multi fuel log burner, lots of comfy seating, a large TV, DVD player, music system, free Wifi and plenty of games, you and your fellow guests can hunker down and enjoy each others' company in this cosy yet sizeable space.

The kitchen has a real wow factor, and has been painstakingly restored to include many of the barn's original features including beamed ceilings and exposed stone. The large farmhouse tables are just right for long lazy breakfasts or cosy Sunday lunches with all the trimmings. There is more than enough space for you all to take turns cooking, with the well-equipped kitchen offering two electric ovens, large gas hob, microwave, two sinks, dishwasher, commercial fridge, freezer and plenty of pans, cookware, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

When it comes to getting your head down, the barn offers seven beautiful bedrooms situated across two floors. Whether you opt for the grand master bedroom with its 4 poster bed or bed down in the bunk rooms, every bedroom is well appointed and extremely comfortable.

Choose from a king sized four poster bedroom, three double bedrooms, or the family room with a super king sized bed made from two old pews and two large bunks. Or why not opt for one of the two bunk rooms with three bunk beds apiece for a great night's sleep in the country?

There are also three finely designed bathrooms situated across the sleeping areas. Each bathroom comes complete with a walk-in shower and one has a bath tub as well. The biggest of the three offers a selection of three separate showers, two hand basins and two enclosed toilets - perfect for families to share.

A recent addition to The Barn is a large playroom that can be found in a separate building to the rear of the main house. With a pool table, darts, table tennis, comfy sofas, a sink and counter, fridge, freezer and toilets, as well as a pizza oven, this bright and comfortable space is perfect of socialising with friends and family. Two sets of bi-fold doors look out onto the surrounding lawn and give access to the garden in the warmer weather.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, The Barn is a great base for walking, climbing, cycling and caving, with numerous outdoor activities to be found right on your doorstep. Explore this part of the country in style, with 23 of your nearest and dearest at this beautiful rural retreat with room enough to accommodate you all.
