Period grandeur meets modern luxury in this beautiful apartment which boasts glorious views of the sparkling sea and expansive skies. The exterior of the building, which sits a pebble's throw from the beach, is a typical Victorian seaside mansion while the interior is stylish and modern with plenty of nods to its period heritage.
The cosy living room is furnished with dark green velvet sofas, a thick rug and a living flame log burner giving a grand, yet welcoming and cosy, atmosphere. Pull back the thick curtains to reveal large patio doors which keep those stunning views ever present while offering access to the wonderful outside area. Step out onto the wide balcony which is large enough for two sets of stylish outdoor furniture. This makes a glamorous spot to enjoy a drink before dinner or a moment's quiet reflection.
The apartment makes a great place for socialising with friends. The kitchen is fitted with everything cooks need to perfect special suppers including an induction hob and American style double door fridge freezer. An eight seater kitchen island sits in the centre of this space, where guests can sit down to catch up over wine and dinner, before heading over and relaxing on the large cinema-style recliner sofa. There is plenty of room for everyone to sit together and check out new releases on the wall-mounted flat screen television.
When bedtime beckons, there are three beautiful bedrooms, an ensuite master with a sea view, a double, and a twin, which share a Jack and Jill ensuite. They are all exceptionally well furnished with comfy mattresses, plenty of cushions and pillows and crisp linens. There is an additional family bathroom with a tub for enjoying a soak after days exploring the coastal paths and nearby beaches.
There are many great walks in and around Filey, from the Cleveland Way to the Yorkshire Wolds, which cyclists will love. For wild swimmers, the clean waters of Filey Bay entice bathers in for a dip all year round. Or why not take a relaxing stroll through lovely Filey and follow the seafront sculpture trail heading up to the pretty Memorial Gardens? There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town, so check out Inghams or Captain Will's for coffee and cake by day or pizza and drinks at night.
