If you are seeking a stay like no other, then look no further than Lakeside. This aptly named luxury villa benefits from its proximity to a private lake and is wonderfully situated in the beautiful North Lancashire countryside, just a short drive from the Lake District. Besides its location, its other main selling point is its contemporary, yet comfortable design. Double height windows look out towards the lake, making for the perfect evening spot in which to relax and unwind after a long day exploring. With two en suite double bedrooms, Lakeside makes for the perfect couples' retreat, but is also ideal for small families or groups.

The owners of Lakeside are interior designers, and this becomes readily apparent upon entering. The property has been beautifully decorated throughout, with comfort and style found in equal measure. The carefully considered aesthetics combine with features such as high vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows to create a serene atmosphere. The living area is incredibly spacious and looks out through the sliding patio doors and onto the lake.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod-cons - including a Nespresso coffee machine - and there is a separate laundry closest with a washer/drier. There is also a spacious dining table with seating for four. Step though the living area's sliding patio doors and onto the decking, where you can enjoy the full splendour of the lake while relaxing from the comfort of the outdoor furniture - or your very own hot tub! The two bedrooms each contain a super king size bed, SMART TV, and en-suite bathroom. Both also have large walk-in showers, while the ground floor bathroom has a spa-style shower and a standalone bath. There is also a WC adjoined to the hallway.

Lakeside is just a short drive from the beautiful Lake District. The most visited of the UK's national parks, the Lake District is known for its gorgeous vistas, numerous lakes, and multitude of walking and hiking trails. The stunning Windermere - England's largest natural lake - sits in the park and is a 40-minute drive away. The charmingly picturesque towns of Cartmel and Kirkby Lonsdale and both approximately 20-minutes by car. The former is known for its quaint, narrow, and winding streets, and the latter for the 14th century Devil's Bridge.
