This fantastic holiday home was nominated for Cumbria's most stylish property and it does not disappoint. With a plethora of designer features, a truly stunning outdoor area and two elegant ensuite bedrooms it would be perfect for two couples or a small family seeking an indulgent escape in the beautiful Lake District.

Gather together in the Scandinavian Style open plan living area and crack open a bottle of fizz. The room is light and airy with floor-to-ceiling gable end sliding doors where you can sip away and enjoy the view of the garden. A cosy designer corner sofa invites you to close the electric blinds, kick back and enjoy a movie on the large flatscreen with built in Sonos surround sound whilst the toasty Morso log burner crackles away in the background.

When it comes to suppertime you'll be very pleased with the stylish and sleek designer kitchen with its quartz worktops, integrated appliances and large breakfast bar where you can prepare a feast to be enjoyed at the large dining table by the window. If alfresco dining is your preference you'll have the most magnificent outdoor patio where you can settle beneath cover with the another log burner outside to create a really lovely cosy atmosphere. Dine at your leisure with fine wines and nothing but the stars to keep you company.

When sleep beckons head to the two beautifully designed super-king bedrooms, where you'll find luxurious beds bedecked in high quality Egyptian cotton, gorgeous walnut furniture and plenty of room for you to rest. One of the rooms can be made into a twin if required.

In the morning two ensuite bathrooms will delight, with a Villeroy & Boch roll-top bathtub to sink into in one, and a Hansgrohe rainfall shower to idle under in the other. Indulge yourself with complimentary toiletries before wrapping yourself in a warm fluffy robe and making your way to the kitchen for that all important first coffee which you can enjoy on the patio as you make your plans for the day.

Stroll the charming streets of Bowness-on-Windermere, enjoy the boutique shops and quaint cafes and be sure to stock up on local sticky toffee pudding! Take a leisurely boat ride on Lake Windermere and treat yourself to a pub lunch afterwards, there are plenty of great places to choose from and some excellent fine dining options too. For outdoor enthusiasts there are lots of fantastic hikes through stunning scenery, and the hosts recommend you hire a bike to see the peaceful lakeside views and panoramic vistas.
