Wide endless skies, beautiful beaches and dense woodland, Ingloss Skies is the ideal place to switch off and reconnect with nature. This secluded cabin retreat is accessed by a quiet lane, more used to cyclists and horse riders than cars.
On arrival, take in the 360 degree views of the countryside and the distant Norfolk coast before heading inside for a well-deserved post-travel cup of tea.
The interior is a charming and stylish open-plan area with a separate bedroom. Large bulbs hang from wooden beams illuminating the space with sensitive lighting after-dark. During the day, sunlight pours through the numerous French doors, which open wide to give access to the pretty terrace and seemingly-endless views.
The kitchen area is modern and bright, a relaxed space where cooks will love creating delicious meals from local produce - the area has plenty of farm shops and farmers' markets to discover. Pull up a chair at the circular dining table and make plans over breakfast, or head outside with a novel, or a sketchbook, enjoy the birdsong and breathe in the fresh air. There are plenty of seating areas to unwind and enjoy the sun.
Alternatively, there is a comfy lounge which is bright with natural light. Tired limbs will love sinking into the large comfy sofa and warming toes by the wood-burning fire on chilly evenings. The owners have used repurposed furniture and materials to renovate this magical space, the magnificent feature wall was created with former-scaffold planks.
When night falls, the sumptuous bedroom beckons. Wash off the day in the luxurious en suite shower room before hopping into the boutique style superking-sized bed. Snuggle amongst the organic linens and wool pillows for a restorative night's sleep. Wake refreshed and ready for another wonderful day at Ingloss Skies.
There are many activities to be enjoyed nearby, from pedalling the National Cycle Route, kayaking the River Waveney, to wandering the footpaths from the front door. After working up an appetite, head to the Angel Inn at Loddon or the Olive Tree at Ellingham. For coffee, cake and provisions, visit Bungay with its independent cafes and delicatessens.
