The Details
Little Wren is the cutest cabin just for two. It sits among the trees, overlooking the water of a large private lake in the Essex countryside. It makes the perfect spot to relax, slow down and just spend time together.
Inside the cabin is compact but perfectly formed, with large windows and sliding doors letting in the tranquil woodland and lake views. The living area comes with neat kitchenette with hob, sink and fridge, ideal for cooking up eggs for breakfast and other easy meals. There's a sofa where you can put your feet up, open the French doors and sit with a coffee - or light the woodburner and snuggle up in the evening time.
Behind the living space is the sleeping area with double bed made up with cosy linens underneath a window, so you can take in those lake views when you wake up. And behind the bedroom is the neat ensuite shower room.
Outside, the wooden deck with loungers and fire pit is where you'll want to spend mild afternoons and summer evenings. Chill with a good book, cook dinner al fresco over the fire, or just do nothing and watch the swans swim by and listen to the breeze in the trees.
If you fancy a wander, the cabin sits on an organic farm, with the Essex countryside surrounding. For days out the shops, restaurants and pubs of Colchester are only a few miles away.
