Set on a resort in the heart of the Cornish countryside, Herons is a stylish holiday home designed for relaxing holidays with friends or the whole family. Enjoy a refreshing dip in your private pool to start the day, before heading out to explore the beaches and sights of North Cornwall. Unwind after a day of sightseeing with a session in the sauna or the hot tub before rustling up some dinner on the Green Egg BBQ. In the evenings, relax together in the huge entertaining space on the ground floor or snuggle up in front of a film in the cinema room upstairs.
Step inside on the ground floor and you'll find yourselves in the spacious open-plan living area, perfect for socialising and spending quality time together. On one side you'll find a contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar island kitted out with everything you could need, including two ovens, a wine fridge and a dishwasher. This is conveniently located a few paces from the beautiful oak dining table with its views over the pool, garden and the resort's lake. On the other side of this space, you'll find a comfy sitting area with big squishy sofas gathered around a TV and a plasma fire.
Open up the big sliding glass doors onto the garden and make the most of the beautiful Cornish sunshine. With its heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, Green Egg BBQ and outdoor dining area, it's the perfect spot to spend a sunny afternoon. Relax on a lounger by the pool with a good book or sit back in the hot tub and soak up the countryside views.
Make your way up to the first floor of the house where you'll find the cinema room with three rows of comfy sofas in front of the large screen, perfect for a cosy evening in. You'll also find two of the bedrooms on this floor, one twin with an ensuite shower room and a double equipped with a luxurious super-king size bed and an ensuite with a jacuzzi bath. Head upstairs again to find the remaining four ensuite bedrooms, two more twins and two with super-king size beds, offering plenty of flexibility for groups. They are all beautifully furnished and you'll find them complete with crisp, fresh bedding, promising a great night's sleep.
If you fancy doing a bit of exploring, there's plenty to see and do in this part of Cornwall. The charming harbour town of Padstow is just a short drive away, offering plenty in the way of culinary treats, from fresh fish and chips to fine dining at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. You'll spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches with the likes of Watergate Bay, Bedruthan Steps and Constantine Bay all within easy reach and plenty more in between. Head off along the South West Coast Path to take it all in, stopping off at historic fishing villages like Boscastle along the way. For a bit of culture, visit the nearby Tintagel Castle, perched dramatically on the cliffs and steeped in Arthurian legend.
