This stunning waterside six-bedroom Cornish property is perfect for bringing family and friends together.
Everyone will love this secluded coastal paradise, with plenty of room to both entertain and relax. Adults can revel in their time off, teenagers have their personal space and kids can let their imagination run wild.
On warmer days dine alfresco on the terrace, or string up hammocks and relax with a good book. In the evenings, take a dip in the hot tub while you take in the stunning views.
After a day exploring, unwind in the lounge, with comfy sofas and a smart TV. Through winter snuggle up, warming your toes in front of the woodburner and on a summer day, throw open big French doors to soak up the rays on a sunny afternoon. This space is the perfect place to relax for every season. On top of this, a second sitting room gives teens or little ones their own space to watch a movie, play games and hang out.
Itching to take a trip on the water? It's right on your doorstep! Choose the east steps from the garden for a scenic swim, or the west for the property’s own sandy spit, ideal for keeping small dinghies or canoes. Then shower off and hang up your wet things in the handy utility room, where there’s also a washing machine and dryer.
The well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining room make meal times a breeze and the Aga at the heart of the kitchen gives a cosy feel for cooking. Two fridge freezers and a drinks fridge mean there’s plenty of room for everyone’s favourites. And with two dishwashers, cleaning up is a breeze.
Whatever the weather you can enjoy your meal in the dining room, thanks to the folding glass doors, which open up to bring the outside inside.
When you’re ready to turn in, there are six bedrooms, three on the ground floor and three on the first. Both floors have a master bedroom with super-king size beds and an ensuite, with three further twin bedrooms with shared bathrooms. The first floor master bedroom has the added bonus of a terrace to take in those glorious views.
Gillan Creek is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is teeming with wildlife on the South-West Coastal Path. Take a scenic walk to nearby Helford, inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier’s ‘Frenchman’s Creek’, with great pubs and cafés and the National Trust Glendurgan Gardens. Or jump in the car to Falmouth for the National Maritime Museum and buzzing shops and restaurants.
