This cosy, contemporary-style cabin is tucked away in the picturesque countryside of North Wales, with stunning views of the majestic Berwyn Mountains. Snuggle up in front of the log burner and soak up the scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows. On sunny days, head out to the deck and relax while taking it all in from the comfort of your private hot tub. Spend your days exploring the surrounding countryside, enjoying gentle strolls along the River Dee or embarking on challenging hikes up to the rugged peaks that you can see from the cabin. Designed with couples in mind, this is the perfect spot to slow down the pace and reconnect with nature.
The cabin gets its name from the Dutch word for cosy and friendly which reflects the warm and inviting atmosphere of its interior. The open plan design means that you can enjoy the view whether you're cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in front of the TV or snuggled up in the luxurious king size bed. To one side, you'll find a modern kitchen that has been styled in a rustic way to complement the cabin's natural surroundings. There's a generous kitchen island that doubles as a dining space with soft lighting creating a romantic atmosphere for an evening in. After dinner, get a fire going in the log burner and snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of something and plan the next day's adventures.
The luxurious bed, complete with Egyptian Cotton linen, is set back from the windows slightly, creating a cosy bedroom area while still allowing you to wake up to the breathtaking view. Next to this, you'll find the ensuite bathroom with towels and bath robes waiting for you and a stylish walk-in shower.
If you can tear yourselves away from your peaceful hideaway, there's plenty of exploring to be done nearby. Head up into the mountains that you can see from the cabin and hike to Pistyll Rhaeadr, one of the highest waterfalls in Wales. Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is also nearby and a must for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll be spoiled for choice with activities such as hiking, mountain biking, zip-lining and even surfing at an inland lagoon.
For a bit of culture, hop in the car and head to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fascinating example of early 19th-century engineering. Enjoy a leisurely canal boat ride along the Llangollen Canal that will take you over the aqueduct, taking in the picturesque scenery and passing through charming villages along the way.
