Set in the Welsh countryside, just 10 minutes from Snowdonia National Park, Caban y Gors and Caban Marta are two eco-friendly cabins, perfect for couples or small families. They’re set on what was once a working farm and with Snowdonia’s mountains offering a spectacular backdrop, they offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. With a focus on sustainability, both cabins have been furnished with reclaimed, organic and locally made furnishings, creating spaces that are cosy and authentic. Spend your days relaxing, enjoying holistic treatments on site or heading out to explore Snowdonia in one direction and Anglesey in the other, before snuggling up in your cabin or doing a bit of stargazing out on the deck.
Caban Marta has been designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and one child or teenager. It’s set in the farm’s garden and has been built largely using reclaimed and recycled materials. Inside, you’ll find that it has its own shower room and kitchenette, so there’s no need to leave any home comforts behind. Outside, there’s a private patio area where you can relax in the wood-fired hot tub after a long walk in the countryside or snuggle up by the fire pit to toast marshmallows late into the evening.
Caban y Gors has plenty in the way of rustic charm and is set overlooking a meadow. This romantic cabin is perfect for couples and has also been built using recycled materials. Even some of the kitchen appliances have been made from plant-based plastic. The living space opens onto its own private decking area where you can sit out and enjoy a glass of something and watch the sunset. The cabin is also nicely located close to the site’s boutique washing facilities.

We were blown away from the moment we at. Having just finished our first climb of Wydffra we were done in. Adam was a breath of fresh air and welcomed us to his and Bethan’s amazing retreat. We were shown the amazing facilities and then handed the super spa of hot tub. Plunge pool and sauna. After the day we had this was heavenly. Laying in a wood fired hot tub star gazing was wonderful. Followed by the most comfortable bed . 100% going back here. It’s amazing
